“No map can give humanity a special place in the universe”
This work was part of my solo show Dislocated Geographies. The piece consists of 12 old school maps joined together, forming a large window-like piece of paper with a drawing of a star cloud with charcoal.
The subliminal message conveys the idea that the importance of the human being in the world means almost nothing when compared with the immensity of the universe.
